One of life’s greatest miracles and gifts bestowed upon us is the blessing of life itself, especially when the life is in the form of a small bundle of joy who welcomes her new surroundings with a beautiful cry that calms the hearts of her parents. Recently, my beloved wife was granted the blessing of delivering a healthy baby girl (27-Oct-2011), Masha’Allah. We have named her Anam, which means blessings. She is our second daughter, Alhumdolillah!
A daughter is a great bounty and an honour granted by Allah. I thank Allah for His Mercy to me and my family. May my daughters reach maturity and right-guidance, and may Allah (Subhanahu ta’ala) make them a blessing for us.
O Allah! Protect my baby in the Perfect Words of yours from every devil and every beast, and from every envious blameworthy eye and make her a preceding reward and stored treasure for us all. May people encourage kindness towards them. Ameen!
