Time is of essence

Time is of the essence. It is too precious to be wasted or neglected.

The wise person is one who pays attention to time and does not treat it as a vessel to be filled with cheap things and vain talk. Instead, the wise person limits it to worthy efforts and righteous deeds that please Allah and benefit others.

Every minute of a person’s life carries the potential to raise that person’s status, to attain Allah’s pleasure, and to make other people happier, little by little.

If you are keen to attain the high ranks in Paradise, a high position in this life, and bring the most happiness to your people, then forget about relaxing and keep away from empty amusements.

In one minute, you can do a lot of good and earn great rewards. In just one minute – spent remembering Allah, reciting the Quran, reading Hadith, engaging in learning any beneficial knowledge, or striving to do something good – you can make sure that this minute of your life is not wasted. One minute can be recorded in your book of good deeds if you know how to make most of it.

To conclude, I would like to advise you all to strive to make the most of each minute.
