Allah says in the Quran,
“O ye who believe! Fear God as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam. And hold fast, all together, by the rope which God (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude God’s favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth God make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided. Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity. Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty,- On the Day when some faces will be (lit up with) white, and some faces will be (in the gloom of) black: To those whose faces will be black, (will be said): “Did ye reject Faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting Faith.”” [Surah Ali ‘Imran 3:102-106]
Allah says in the Quran,
“Have We not made for him a pair of eyes?- And a tongue, and a pair of lips?- And shown him the two highways?” [Surah Al Balad 90:8-10]
Our second Caliph, -Umar ibn Al-Khattab said:
“We were the lowliest of people but Allah gave us might and glory through Islam. If we seek glory through other than what Allah gave us glory through, He will abase us (again).”
Allah (SWT) says in the Qur’an:”Verily, this is My way, leading straight: follow it: follow not (other) paths: they will scatter you about from His (great) path: thus does He command you. So that you may be righteous.” [Qur’an 6:153]
From the above ayah we can deduce that there is a single right path which one must follow and that there are also many divisions. Indeed we cannot deny that there will be divisions, which are an inevitability, however our role is to search for the right path.
There are Ahadith which have been authenticated, informing us that the Ummah of the Messenger Muhammad (saw) will be divided into 73 sects, 72 of which will be in hellfire.
The Messenger Muhammad (saw) said:
“…by the one in whose hand is my soul, My Ummah will be divided into 73 sects, 72 are in hellfire.” The Sahabah asked “who are the saved sect?” he (saw) replied: “Al Jama’ah”.”
Abdullah ibn Amru (ra) narrated that The Messenger Muhammad (saw) said: “My Ummah will face what bani Israel faced step by step, even if one of them approached his mother publicly (sexually) there will be one from my Ummah who will approach his mother. The people of Israel were divided into 72 sects, my Ummah will divided into 73 sects, all of them are in the hellfire, and one of them is in paradise.” We asked “which one is saved?” The Messenger Muhammad (saw) said: “the one which is upon that which Me and my companions are on.”[Tirmizi 2565] Abu Salamah and Abu Huraira (ra) also narrated the same hadith [Sunan ibn Majah 3981, Kitab Al Fitan]
There will be many deviant sects forming the majority on the day of judgement and only one saviour sect. May Allah bring us all to the straight path and bless us with guidance. Ameen.

And nowadays we see the fruit of this idea of jahiliyyah: Precious archaeological sites being destroyed in the Middle East, and non-Muslim populations being massacred.

We condemn such massacre and such heinous crimes committed in the name of religion, where religion has got nothing to do with it. In Islam killing one innocent is equivalent to killing the entire mankind and Islam strongly condemns violation of these rights of each person.
denounces terrorism and condemns killing of innocents as much as we condemn the massacre done by US, UK and France together at Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and many many other places.
We condemn the spilling of blood of Palestinians in the hands of pseudo Israel, a country with no actual boundary and it keeps growing. Whereas it has not even a speck of right to be there. They were people from Germany and Poland and America and other European nations and they drove the actual residents away and massacred them in broad day and broad night and now claim it to be their land. We condemn the burning of crps belonging to Muslims, burning their homes and silos and even children and the world turning the other way with no condemnations.
We condemn the acts of ISIS and we been saying this since day one that this political group has been given birth to by America and no one understood what we are saying, untill, UN and more recently, Obama the US President, himself came clean and acknowledged that this political massacring group of ISIS is their own doings.
And I can go on and on… it is a huge huge growing list by the hour.
So my brother in humanity, I wish that you will have the opportunity to see the fact as they are, and not as your administration and the Jewish lobby controlled media like BBC and Fox present them.
