A ‘No Lose’ Situation

It is narrated by Abu Sa’eed that the Messenger of Allah (SAWS) said;  “Whatever a Muslim faces by way of pain, tiredness, worry, anxiety or trouble – even if  it be a thorn that pricks him once – Allah surely recompenses him by turning that as an expiation of his sins.” [Bukhari & Muslim]

In another narration reported in Muslim, the Messenger of Allah (SAWS) said:  “It is very peculiar with a Believer. Surely, everything with him is commendable and no one else besides him has a share in it. If he is happy, he thanks Allah and that is better for him. And if he suffers difficulty, he endures patiently and this (too) is better for him.”

Subhanallah! A Muslim can never lose… if he is in any pain, Allah uses that as an excuse to forgive him. If he is in difficulty or luxury, it is still a means to gain Allah’s Mercy. It’s a no lose situation!
