Ramadan : Take Suhoor before Fasting
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (radiyallaahu anhu) that The Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa salam) said, “Take Suhoor as there is a blessing in it.” [Bukhari: Book 3 Vol 31 Hadith 146]
When is the time for Suhoor?
It is narrated from Anas (radiyallaahun anhu) that Zaid bin Thabit (radiyallaahun anhu) said, “We took the Suhoor with the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa salam). Then he stood for the prayer.” I asked, “What was the interval between the Suhoor and the Adhan?” He (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa salam) replied, “The interval was sufficient to recite fifty verses of the Quran.” [Bukhari: Book 3 Vol 31 Hadith 144]
