No real advancement for the Muslims without a Return to their Religion

Saudi King Abdul Azeez (rahimahullaah) said: "O Muslims! It is obligatory that we hold onto the Rope of Allaah (i.e. the Qur'aan), follow the Sunnah of Allaah's Messenger Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wassallam), follow the guidance of the Messenger, act on Allaah's orders and keep away from what Allaah has forbidden. Indeed, every speech that is not followed by action is false. There can be no rectification for the Muslims except through their unity upon singling out their Lord in [His Lordship, Names and Attributes and worshipping Him alone and associate none to Him as a partner in Worship]. [And in the event of] every differing that leads to splitting Read more ...

And He is the Almighty, the All-Wise" [Surah al-Hashr, 59:22-24] Allah states that He Alone is Read more ...
tawheed

The three categories of Tawheed, defined in the Quran

In the Name of Allaah, the All-Merciful, may His Salaah and Salaam be upon His final Messenger, and upon all his family members and companions, and those who follow his way, to proceed... Tawheed has three categories understood directly from Allaah’s Book. This division of tawheed is not from someone’s opinion, nor is it merely a traditional way to explain tawheed. It is a division that is taken directly from Allaah’s Book. The first category is Tawheed ar-Ruboobiyyah, which means "to single out Allaah in understanding His Actions," like His creating, providing, bringing of life and death, and keeping order in all affairs. A person understands Read more ...

Benefits from Shaikh al-Fawzan | Ref: Khutub al-Minbariyyah, vol. 5. pp. 259-262 Take advantage of this month, may Allaah show you mercy, because for many of you it will not return. So grasp this opportunity with whatever ability Allaah has given you – and with whatever endeavor He (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) has facilitated for you from acts of obedience, and encouragement for you. So recognize the status of this month, and give it the right is deserves by obeying Allaah, the Most High. Increase in supplications, and in seeking His forgiveness and in repenting to Him, for the arrival of this month is good for the Muslim. So if a Muslim strives in the obedience Read more ...
earthquake

Why does Earthquake occur?

All praise be to Allah. May Allah's Peace and Blessings be upon Allah's Messenger and upon his family, Companions, and those who follow his guidance! Allah (Glorified be He) is All-Wise and All-Knowledgeable with what He predestines and what He legislates and commands. He creates what He wills of portents. He predestines them to make His servants fear Him, reminds them of what they have to do and warn them against Shirk (associating others with Allah in His Divinity or worship), disobeying His commands and violating His prohibitions. Allah (Glorified be He) says: "And We sent not the signs except to warn, and to make them afraid (of destruction)." Read more ...

questions regarding Islam

7 Fundamental Questions Regarding Islam

Question 1. What is Islam? Islam is an Arabic term that means: "To submit oneself to Almighty God by worshipping him alone, to yield in obedience to Him, and to free oneself from idolatry and those who worship other than Almighty God". Unlike the names used for other religions, the term Islam is not an attachment to any human being, time or location. For example, Buddhism was named after it's founder Gautama Buddha; Judaism refers to one of the sons of the Biblical patriarch Jacob (Israel), and Christianity is a reference to Jesus Christ. The term Islam on the other hand is a connection to the submission and worship of the one true Lord and Creator of Read more ...
Salafi Manhaj

What is Salafi Manhaj?

The Salafi Manhaj - Our Da'wah, Our Call 1.  We call, first and foremost, to the worship of Allaah alone, without associating partners with Him. This was the starting point of the call of the Messengers (alayhumus salaam), just as Allaah has stated: "We sent a messenger to every nation proclaiming: Worship Allaah alone and leave the worship of the false deities." So this call to the worship of Allaah alone is coupled with the negation of the worship of anything besides Him. 2.  We believe that our Religion calls to many essentials, so we call to the most essential affair, followed by that which is next in importance, in accordance to the Quranic Read more ...
testimony

Testimony that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah

In the grave the deceased will be tested with three questions. If they answer them correctly, they will be saved, and if not, they are doomed. One of these questions is "Who is your Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wassallam)?" [The other two are: "Who is your God?" and "What is your religion?" [Ahmad]] No one will be able to answer correctly except those who have fulfilled the conditions of this testimony, and those who Allah inspires with the answers and bestows upon him firmness in the face of this severe test. These are the people who will benefit on that day when one's money or relatives will be of no avail. The conditions of the testimony of 'Muhammad Read more ...
laa illaha illalla

Testimony that Laa llaaha Illa-Allah

This phrase has two parts: 1) "Laa llaaha" : Which negates that anything or anyone deserves to be worshipped other than Allah. 2) "Illa-Allah" : Which affirms that Allah alone truly deserves to be worshipped. Allah (Subhanahu Ta’ala) said: "And (remember) when Ibraheem said to his father and his people: "Verily, I am innocent of what you worship, except Him (i.e Allah alone I worship none) Who did create me; and verily, He will guide me." [43:26-27] Therefore it's not sufficient to worship Allah, rather you must worship Him alone. The Tawheed of a person is not correct except by singling out Allah in worship and freeing one's self from polytheism Read more ...
