The Losers this Ramadan

Acquaint yourselves with the worth of this month…

“The one who enters this month and he wastes himself with sins and evil acts, and he does not repent to Allaah. He does not pay attention to this month nor that which it contains of goodness and blessings. So he passes it by like he passes the other months. He is denied its blessings and he leaves it just as he entered it, not benefitting from it at all:

“They are the ones upon whose hearts, hearing and sight Allaah has set a seal. And they are the heedless” [Quran, Surah An-Nahl:108]

“Like those who forgot Allaah, so He made them forget themselves – and they are the transgressing sinners.” [Quran, Surah Al- Hashr:19]

So his head is not uplifted by this month, and he does does not know its worth and value. This is the true deprivation! We ask Allaah for wellbeing.”
