Dr. Zakir Naik is a great ambassador of peace to the world who utilizes the books of various religions to bring all the people on a single platform. He actively denounces terrorism and condemns killing of innocents. At the same time, he believes in being just and honest when judging someone. Just because he is honest, sincere, peace loving, social worker, down to earth, soft spoken, follows laws of the country, respected citizen of India and an Islamic Preacher, Will you ban him from entering your country?  They don’t want non-Muslims to come to the truth. And those who have presented these “out of context” quotes from Dr Naik’s lectures, have either deliberately done it or must be very weak in English.

As Dr Zakir Naik stated in his statement, this appears to be a political decision rather than a legal one. Meanwhile, Dr Naik who was to head next month’s Journey of Faith Conference in Toronto, will not be allowed into Canada as well.

So what if Dr Zakir Naik as a person, as an individual, shouted against these super-powers? Is he wrong in saying that Nato forces are terrorists to Iraqis and Afghanis? It is his mistake that he tried to attach religion to his arguments. Otherwise, what he says is right, the rich are terrorizing the poor and weak nation. Am I wrong? There has to be somebody to shout the truth. Super-powers are terrorists in many nations.

For 34 days she authorized troops to make 12,000 aerial sorties, to fire 100,000 artillery shells, damaging 350 schools and destroying 15,000 houses in Lebanon. 130,000 homes were partially damaged. The attacks destroyed water sources, hospitals, power stations and other infrastructure essential to life. 900,000 people were forced to leave their homes and remain without shelter for many days. Some 1,200 people were killed, and 4,400 were wounded: approximately 30% of the dead, about 360, were children under the age of 13. Yet Prime minister Gordon Brown of UK had said ‘ She is always welcome in Britain’. Is stooping to same level of madness a criteria that Zakir Naik will have to resort to in order to be welcomed by the prime minister of UK or maybe the PM can impress upon Home Secretary to change her opinion and welcome Dr Zakir Naik. Either way it is UK’s loss if it denies entry to such a luminary like Zakir Naik into their country.

Journey of Faith Conference, Toronto : Status Update :

The organizers of the 3rd annual Journey of Faith conference, regret to announce that Dr. Zakir Naik will be unable to attend this year’s conference due to the uncertainty of his admission to Canada. While no official public notice or announcement has been issued regarding the Canadian government’s decision to revoke Dr. Naik’s visa, we have no choice but to assume, based on various reports, that such a decision has been made and abide by it at this time. Nonetheless, the attendees and supporters of Journey of Faith will not be left empty handed. Inshallah the conference will go on as planned and Inshallah Dr. Zakir Naik will be joining us via live video conferencing along with all the other speakers already scheduled. Join us this Canada Day weekend for a journey towards understanding our Divine Manual: The Holy Quran.

The Journey of Faith conference is an invitation to Muslims and peoples of other faiths to learn about Islam. It is not to promote a particular speaker or individual.
