Happy New Year Friends!
A new beginning. That is what every arriving year powerfully symbolizes. And even though 2009 will find distressed nations, worried citizens and a cloudy horizon, the hope for a fresh start is everywhere. We are just coming out of 12 months in which we saw the economy crumble, two wars with no end in sight, an even deeper erosion of the peace and the unconscionable dehumanization and persecution of hundreds of thousands, nations mired in deep economic and moral crisis.
Not surprisingly, seldom has a New Year been so anxiously awaited. In the hope that we can make things better in 2009, I pray for greater peace and stability. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?
Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?
I know one, who claimed as an atheist who sounds to hate God badly. He asked God to give miracles for him to believe God’s existence. He said 'God give nothing' and he then deciced that there is no God.
Our life is miracle. Look at people around us, see how they are beautiful, our eyes can see this world clearly, isn’t it wonderfull? The trees, the flowers, the sun, the moon, the stars... the love we have.
From micro-orgasms to the human. From whales to ants and everything in between. The atmosphere we breath, the lakes we swim in, the forests in their splendor, the desert in its empty grandeur Read more ...
Virtues of Zam Zam water
Is the Water of Zam-Zam Drinkable?
Water Research by Tariq Hussain, Desalting Engineer
The well of Zamzam is the well that Allah caused to flow at Makkah for Prophet Ibrahim’s wife Hajar and for his oldest son Ismail, (peace be upon them all).
In 1971, an Egyptian doctor wrote to the European Press, a letter saying that Zamzam water was not fit for drinking purposes. He immediately thought that this was just a form of prejudice against the Muslims and that since his Statement was based on the assumption that since the Kaaba was a shallow place (below sea level) and located in the centre of the city of Makkah, the waste water of the city collecting Read more ...

Why We Read The Quran Even If We Don’t Understand It
Why Do We Read the Quran Even though We Don’t Understand A Single Arabic Word?
An old American Muslim lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Quran. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could. One day the grandson asked, “Grandpa! I try to read the Quran just like you but I don’t understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Quran do?”
The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, “Take this coal basket Read more ...
The Miracle Of Human Mind
The caliph once sent a Jewish scholar to debate with Imam ‘Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha (peace be upon him). The Jew said to him, “How can you accept Muhammad as the Messenger of God when he showed no miracles?”
The Imam replied, “The greatest miracle of God is the human mind. It allows ideas to be thought through and reasoned out. Man must accept God through reason, not through miracles.”
At first glance it might seem as though this story confirms that the Prophet showed no miracles, while history proves that he performed many remarkable actions that can only be accomplished through Allah’s power and will. We know of the moon splitting, rocks, trees, Read more ...

Rights of Women in Islam : HIJAB
Rights of Women in Islam : Hijab
Over the years, the dress code among Muslim women has been given great attention, especially in relation to the hijab practice in which is considered as a symbol of “oppression” towards Muslim women. While Islam is certainly not the only religion to introduce the practice of covering head, it continues to be the centre of attack and heavily discussed as the women’s right issue especially outside Muslim world. Furthermore, this has been included as a political agenda in some countries, which results in Muslim women being oppressed and their freedom to practice their religion was taken away. Sadly, we also see that some Read more ...
